看完codecademy或者lpthw了解最基本的语法之后可以看一下Dive Into Python，是本在线电子书，觉得还不错。

看你学习python后做什么。
业余人士，啥都行。 全职python程序员，建议用Mark Lutz 写的《Learning Python》、《Programming Python》。 别看《Learning Python》写的罗嗦，真能过一遍，能避免以后编程时，出现一些常见的错误。 |

楼上的bigger太高了, 当然也有可能都是好东西.
我一般都是推荐廖雪峰老师的Python+Git教程,简单易学,深入浅出,让新人快速对Python有一个整体上的感觉. 而且直接学习了2个对程序员而言的重要技能. 花费时间1周左右吧 |
