Who You'll Work With

Cisco CABU team – Cisco CABU has industry's most complete product portfolio of CMTS router, Remote PHY Device, Cloud native CMTS and SDN application.

We continue to be the market leader in technology development, product breadth and market share. We are the most active participator to define related industry standards.

Aligning with Cisco cloud strategy covering cable service providers' needs in triple-play (HD-Video, Voice, and Data); Adopting Agile development model to provide user-first, user-friendly GUI-driven end2end solution. Building CI/CD pipeline to reduce time-to-market and improve product quality.

What You'll Do

• Develop SW on Cloud CMTS, Health Monitoring Application, DevOps and SDN application using Cloud native way.
• Develop python based automation contributed to CI/CD pipeline and Go test based white-box unit test with high cover coverage
• Maintain SW on embed CMTS router, work closely with customer support teams in recreation and resolution of customer reported problems
• Contribute to and review engineering and end user documentation, product requirements, functional specifications, test plans, product literature, trouble-shooting guide, configuration guide, command reference, and release notes
• Team communication on new ideas and presentations to other team members
• Experience and contribute to agile development methodology as team member, strive for continuous improvements in development/testing methodologies and productivity.

Who You Are

• Must have strong programming skill on one of Go/C/Java/C++, familiar with Python is a strong plus;

• Good understanding of communication network and protocols;

• Experience of cloud technologies is a strong plus;

• Experience of Web application development is a strong plus;

• Knowledge of Linux or Unix is a plus;

• Knowledge of embed system is a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skill in both English and Chinese;

• Open minded and willing to take any challenges

  Educational Background：

• Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 2 or above years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 3 or above years related experience.

时间比较自由，美企文化，请假都比较自由，都是信任大家的。年假起始 12 天，每年涨一天，可以欠。
病假一个月 2 天，群里发个消息就行。

@mmmjk 对技术栈没有特别要求，我只能说 Kafka/redis/Postgres/Cassandra/etcd 我们都会用，主要业务也是 golang based. 私有云下的基础架构，应用和协议开发，懂 k8s 和 docker 会有帮助，不会进来也可以学
