In this role, you will be a hands-on manager of a test development team that focuses on the quality of Vungle's software products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage Vungle ’ s SDET team in multi sites (US, Beijing).
• Define and advance test strategy, test plan and test method according to system architecture and product requirements;
• Participate in product requirements and architecture design review to ensure product and system testability.
• Through testing related processes, strategies, methods and tools and other innovations and efforts, improve the quality and testing efficiency
• Set up and enhance testing environments leveraging AWS and GCP for module testing and  E2E integration testing.
• Refine automation approaches used on the projects and is able to provide guidelines in automation strategy as needed for the specific technology stack of the application under test.
• Define performance testing strategy and implement performance testing framework to assure the strategy is sound.
• Responsible for test team testing methods and technical training, grows and mentors team members in testing plan, strategy, process, automation, E2E integration, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Partners with other project stakeholders across organizations such as development, product management and program manager to align and prioritize quality initiatives.
• Understands client issues and drives root cause analysis and implementation of processes that will improve quality of releases in automation.
• Ensures testing efficiency and testing coverage, improve engineering productivity and provide fast feedback within Agile process.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION:

• Bachelor ’ s degree or above in Engineering, Computer Science or other related fields and 10+ years total work experience
• 5+ years of global, enterprise level leadership experience in Software Quality Engineering.
• At least 5 years working experience in software development, automation testing or white box testing; proven experience supporting the creation of and driving automation frameworks to allow for in-sprint automation.
• 5+ years of proven global Agile/Scrum testing experience.
• Proficient in at least two programming languages (e.g. Java, Go, Python)
• 7+ years working knowledge building out automation frameworks within the Enterprise QA specifically with automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Junit, Cucumber, Appium.
• 3+ years working knowledge of performance testing.
• 3+ years working knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, Experience in developing and running a Continuous Integration system
• Deep understanding of testing concepts, methodologies and processes of agile methodologies such as test-driven development, continuous delivery, agile testing
• Has experience setting up and maintaining test environment based on cloud infrastructure
• Experience with test automation of iOS and Android SDK.
• Good team management skills and technical leadership; can take initiative and lead by example.
• Familiar with software development and testing process
• Strong learning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
