我司是重度 php 用户，从前年 k8s 投入使用以来，越来越多的遗留项目被迁移到了 k8s 上。因为 ingress 不支持 fastcgi 协议，所以不得不在 pod 中加了一层 nginx 将 http 转成 fastcgi 。感觉 kong - nginx - php-fcgi 的链路太长了，于是给 kong 加了一个 fastcgi 协议的支持，现在纯服务类的 php 应用已经可以抛弃 nginx 了，而带有模板的 php 项目还有大量的静态资源没有迁移到 cdn 上，所以暂时还无法脱离 nginx 。
给 kong 提交了 pr，但是被 kong 驳回啦，估计是手头的事情太多，忙不过来的缘故。 https://github.com/Kong/kong/pull/5642
现在应该还有不少人的 web 服务是 fastcgi 协议的吧，python 、perl 甚至 c++
